Overview
Critical Context uses your own API keys to communicate with LLM providers. This means you pay the provider directly for usage with no markup from us. We support Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, and Google Vertex AI.
Supported Providers
Anthropic (Recommended)
Direct API access to Claude models. Simplest setup and best for most users.

Get Your API Key
Go to console.anthropic.com and create a new API key.

Add to Account Settings
Navigate to Account Settings and paste your API key in the Anthropic section.
AWS Bedrock
Use Claude via AWS Bedrock for enterprise compliance and VPC integration.
Google Vertex AI
Use Claude via Google Cloud for GCP-native deployments.
Security Note
API keys are encrypted at rest and never logged. We recommend creating dedicated keys with minimal permissions for Critical Context.
